Great news: TAICEP Membership Hits 200!

Marshall Houserman, Chair of TAICEP’s Membership Committee, and Jeanie Bell, VP for Membership and Outreach, are pleased to announce that TAICEP has hit the 200 member mark! Founded in 2013, TAICEP has steadily grown its membership of International Credential Evaluation Professionals. Following a very successful September conference in Chicago, IL, we’ve added to our member base. TAICEP Brown Bag at AACRAO 2017

TAICEP’s Annual Brown Bag Lunch at AACRAO on April 3^rd was a great success. Hosted by TAICEP members LesLee Clauson Eicher and Tim Kell, 25 attendees were engaged in learning about TAICEP and excited about our upcoming conference in Rome.

Recent TAICEP Webinars

2016 TAICEP Conference Overview, Parts I and II

Each webinar in this two-part series were scheduled to last 60-75 minutes and consist of four 15-minute presentations of sessions that were presented at the 2016 conference. The mini-sessions were given by the same people who presented them at the conference.

These two webinars are intended:

for people who attended the TAICEP conference in Chicago, but would like to know more about the sessions they were unable to attend, and
anyone who would like to know more about the variety of informative topics presented at a TAICEP conference, that focus exclusively on the needs of credential evaluation professionals.

The Value of CSEC and CAPE to Candidates, June 2017 Webinar

Glenroy Cumberbatch, the Registrar of the Caribbean Examinations Council, gave a presentation that includes an overview and update of CXC and CAPE Exams.

Symposium on Credential Evaluation Issues, Melbourne

In April of this year, a group of stakeholders in credential evaluation and digital student data met prior to the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN) meeting in Melbourne. The GDN has as its goal the expansion of digital student data to promote student mobility. A group of credential evaluators felt the importance of discussing and sharing the needs of credential evaluators as they relate to the work of the GDN. It was decided to bring the stakeholders together in conjunction with the meeting in Melbourne, with the support of TAICEP, the GDN, and Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.
