What you’ll do:
- Complete a self-guided review of TAICEP resources related to secondary education and systems
- Pass an online examination
This certificate attests that the holder is familiar with secondary educational systems and credentials around the world. The certificate holder has demonstrated their knowledge by passing a comprehensive online examination about global secondary education.
To earn this certificate, you should demonstrate your understanding of:
- Secondary school structure and placement in educational pathways, including technical/vocational education at the secondary level
- Assessment and grading patterns for secondary schools
- Secondary school and examination board recognition and organization patterns
- Variation in secondary curriculum design
TAICEP has a several recorded training workshops and webinars that will prepare certificate-seekers for the online examination to earn the Secondary School Certificate. Upon registration, a link to the resources will be provided. Certificate-seekers are free to use any additional training and resources to prepare for the online examination.
The Foundation Certificate has a fee of US$200 for TAICEP members and $300 for non-members. TAICEP members will see the member price once they logon to the website. This fee is non-refundable.
