Beka Tavartkiladze

  • Beka has made a significant impact on the lives of immigrants around the world by opening doors for them to start a new life.
  • He has 22 years of experience working at World Education Services and is known around the world as an expert in international education systems and the recognition of international academic credentials.
  • Beka has been active on various high profile Canadian and international committees and panels, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Groningen Declaration Network, and as a member of the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC) Quality Assurance Framework, OECD Forum Engagement Group: Future of Work, and Expert Advisory Panel of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators.
  • He regularly works with licensing bodies, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and higher education institutions. In addition, he assisted the CICIC on the development of the PanCanadian Quality Standards in International Credential Evaluation.
  • Beka worked closely with the IRCC and played a key role in developing Canada’s Express Entry points grid program and securing the role of WES in implementing this initiative, which began in 2012.
  • Beka continues to dedicate his career to this important work, benefitting countless immigrants and newcomers.
